About Fred Anderson - "The world's only near-sighted comic/magician/juggler/escape-artist & tightrope walker."

"Frisco Fred" Anderson is a variety entertainer performing for Corporate Events, Cruise Liners, and Festivals worldwide. The show is a combo of stand-up comedy, juggling, magic & escape-artistry.

Fred learned juggling way back in 1975 while studying theater & computer science at SF State. His first performances were at San Francisco's Fishermans Wharf and Marin's Renaissance Pleasure Faire in 1976, and he was instantly hooked. His performances have taken him around the world several times, including 2 World Expos, The Edinburgh Festival Fringe (5 times), Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts & The Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. He has been "Around the world for a laugh."

Balloon Artists

Dennis Forel

One of America's foremost Balloon Sculptors, Dennis Forel, has been performing since the Ides of March 1975. His repertoire of over 108 different animals has taken him to state and county fairs, amusement parks, shopping centers, and special events throughout the Western U.S., Alaska, Mexico, Japan, and the Bahamas.

Dennis brings his antique Big Wheel Bicycle along and peddles the fairgrounds.

Dennis first started making balloon animals while working at a Shakey's Pizza Parlour. To add to his growing repertoire, he went to a magic shop in the local shopping center, Old Towne Mall, to see if they had a book on balloon sculpture. At the same time, they didn't have a book the shop owner sent him to the shopping center's marketing director, who immediately hired Dennis.

Dennis's performing world expanded to include shopping centers and restaurants, and amusement parks such as Busch Gardens, Los Angeles, Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland, and Nagasaki Holland Village in Japan.

He has also performed in nightclubs like the Magic Castle and the Troubadour in Hollywood, Gallagher's and Catch a Rising Star in the San Fernando Valley, Cobb's in San Francisco, and Hennesey's in Hermosa Beach.

These days Forel specializes in performing at many local, county, and state fairs and a large amount of corporate and private events.

Along the way, Dennis Co-authored a book on making animals out of balloons titled "Balloonacy-The Art of Air Sculpture," later turned into a video entitled "Balloonacy."

Dennis Forel is a member, performer and has lectured at the Academy of Magical Arts, better known as the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. He is a member of the Western Fairs Association and has been producing a magic show, "Poof Too!" for his Odd Fellows Lodge for over twenty years.

Wheels of Agriculture Game Show & The Trivia Tractor

They were performed on a stage or as a rolling attraction around the fairgrounds.

This consists of a garden tractor that pulls a trailer with three contestant consoles.

Question categories and point values are determined by a roll of a pair of custom dice rolled by all ages in the crowd that has gathered and gotten people into the action.

Whoever hits their big red button first locks out the other two and gets a chance to answer first. If they are incorrect, I take it out to the crowd, and those gathered around can answer and win a prize. The rounds are timed at 5 minutes each. This attraction enables me to be very mobile and get around an event. It can be either a straight trivia game or an agricultural-based trivia game.

Washboard Willie - is a strolling musical act. He plays a washboard, sings, and creates a parade of children and adults who all play instruments as they follow him like the Pied Piper. he tows a wagon that amplifies him as he plays.
