Joe & Angie Scavone – Bringing Smiles with Every Animal
Joe and Angie Scavone are the heart and hands behind one of the most charming mobile petting zoos in the Pacific Northwest.

With a passion for animals and a deep love for community events, they bring a delightful assortment of friendly, well-cared-for animals that entertain and educate guests of all ages.

Their traveling zoo is based in Oregon and features 10–15 affectionate goats, 3 friendly sheep, 2 llamas, a pig, and a few small animals, including guinea pigs and rabbits, as well as the star attraction, a capybara that always draws a crowd.

Whether it’s a local fair, school, or special event, Joe and Angie set up a clean, welcoming 20x10 tent space where visitors can meet and interact with their animal friends.

Guests are welcome to feed the animals with cups of peanuts and grain available for purchase, making the experience even more engaging. Joe, now retired, enjoys spending time at events chatting with guests and sharing stories about their animals, while Angie ensures everything runs smoothly with care and warmth.

The Scavones often travel in their RV and stay on-site throughout events, accompanied by a couple of helpful assistants to ensure things run smoothly.

Their commitment to creating safe, joyful animal encounters makes them a wonderful addition to any fair, festival, or community celebration.
