Boswick is a former clown with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. You may have seen him in commercials for ATT, Nissan, and Chevrolet and in the Movie Milk with Sean Penn.

Boswick is available to entertain and delight at almost any event (only events involving fun.)
Boswick can tailor the experience to any audience; from the smallest child to the most serious adult, everyone will be laughing. Clowning, juggling, balloon making, and magic, Boswick can do it all.

If you have visited us for one of our Monday MoMdays events, chances are high that you may have seen an amazing performance by Boswick the Clown. Since helping us launch MoMdays over 2 years ago, Boswick has been wowing kids and parents alike. Which is no surprise since he’s a master of the craft.

ABOUT BOSWICK

Boswick is a former clown with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. You may have seen him on commercials for The Yellow Pages, Nissan, BMW, The San Francisco Examiner or in the movie Milk starring Sean Penn.

The Famous Boswick

Boswick was recently profiled in New York Magazine. Boswick has been entertaining families for more than half his life; he’s appeared at over 5000 family events. Boswick’s world-famous balloon animals have appeared in publications and on TV shows! Even his big clown feet were used in a promotion for the Disney Channel! Boswick was also featured in the music video “Despite What You’ve Been Told” by the Two Gallants. Right after the video came out The Two Gallants appeared on Jimmy Kimmel.

World’s Fastest Balloon Maker

Boswick was crowned the world’s fastest balloon maker by the International Juggling Association (IJA) when he set the world record in the balloon animal relay by running 20 yards, blowing up a balloon, and making a balloon dog, all in 9.6 seconds (Whew!) Video Star Boswick is the Star of “Here Comes The Clown” and “Here Comes Boswick The Clown with Phoebe The Duck” Those two DVDs are in over 1000 libraries across the country.

Boswick The Actor

Boswick is one of the original cast of the long-running San Francisco show “The Speakeasy”, He performed well over 400 shows before the closing, due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. He played the ne’er do well magician Bosley The Magnificent that’s not a very good magician and plays practical jokes on everyone he encounters.

 

Boswick The Teacher

 

Boswick was an Artist in Residence at Ruth Asawa School Of the Arts as well as Harvey Milk Academy in San Francisco teaching clowning and circus skills in the acting department.

Boswick is the author of “Hey Quit Clowning Around. Think Act and Talk Like a Clown” A joke book with over 1500 jokes for what clowns hear everyday.
 

Boswick has nearly 300 blog posts about the art of children’s entertainment (http://boswickclown.blogspot.com) and has published articles for Laugh Maker Magazine and Circus Digest.

 

Is He Always Clowning Around?

When Boswick is not performing, writing or making videos he’s an annoying husband and lazy father of two sons.

Boswick is also a 2nd degree black belt in Aikido and a minor star on Tik Tok.
