From dazzling burlesque routines to mesmerizing aerial feats on rope and silks, chair dance, and acrobatics, Maria’s repertoire is as diverse as it is daring. Her love for adapting to unconventional apparatuses adds an unpredictable charm to her craft. As she fondly puts it, Maria is your "resident weirdo," embracing the alchemy of creativity to uncover extraordinary results.
With an impressive portfolio that spans renowned companies like The Tesseract Troupe, The Underground Circus, Circollective Society, Ariel Helvetica Productions, April O’Peel Productions, and Too Fly Productions, Maria has also graced events such as the St. John’s International Circus Festival, Fluevog Flummunity Fest, and the St. Louis Art Fair.

In 2023, Maria founded the Wild Rumpus Cabaret, a variety performance series, and is a founding member of the Circollective Society for Circus Artists (IG: @circollectivesociety). Circollective's innovative digital circus show, Pause. Shift. Rebound has been celebrated at Transform Cabaret (The Cultch, 2020), the Alberta Circus Arts Festival (2021), and the St. John’s International Circus Festival (2021).
Maria’s artistry is complemented by her journey as a mother, finding joy in balancing family life amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the West Coast. She acknowledges with gratitude the opportunity to create and perform on the traditional and unceded lands of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam Nations.
